The University of Mississippi chancellor, faculty and staff extend our warmest welcome to the students, parents, grandparents, families and friends who plan to attend the 163rd Commencement to be held at Ole Miss on May 14, 2016.
Commencement is a time-honored tradition that recognizes the outstanding work and achievements of our students and faculty. We invite you to join us on this special day as we congratulate our graduating students on their academic success and urge them to use that knowledge to positively impact our state, nation and world.
For the first time in school history, graduates will debut custom-designed regalia at the spring ceremony. The red and blue Commencement caps and gowns bearing the University of Mississippi crest were designed by R.M. Hendrick Graduate Supply House, a Mississippi company that has supplied the university’s regalia for years.
Please check this website frequently. Updates on everything from ordering cap and gown to where to park on the actual day will be added throughout the spring semester. And please view our Commencement Letter to you.
