Please view the map below to see the parking lots nearest to Commencement 2021 venues. The nearest parking available is west of the Pavilion and Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Graduates and visitors are encouraged to arrive early and park in the lots closest to their individual school or college ceremonies.
ADA Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available at:
- the Pavilion Garage for all Pavilion ceremonies
- the East Coliseum for Tad Pad ceremonies
- Lot A for morning Convocation at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium
ADA Shuttle Service
The Department of Parking and Transportation will provide ADA shuttle service from several locations around campus beginning Thursday, April 29 until the final ceremony on Sunday, May 2. The service will consist of approximately 27 golf carts varying in capacity of 4, 6, and 8 seats. Special wheel‐chair accessible carts will also be available as needed.
After final ceremonies are completed ADA shuttle staff will determine service end time by guest’s needs at shuttle locations near the venues. Guests are encouraged to seek transport promptly after the ceremonies.
To request transport on one of the shuttles, guests are encouraged to visit the nearest ADA shuttle
stop/tent. Shuttle stops will be tents with “ADA Shuttle Stop” signage and are located near the following major ceremony venues:
- Tad Pad
- Pavilion Parking Garage
- Vaught-Hemingway Stadium (7 am – 10 am on Saturday, May 1)
In the event a transport is required from a location not near one of the designated stops (like the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts), guests may contact the Department of Parking and Transportation at 662‐915‐7235 and request a special pick-up during the following times:
- Friday, April 30 from 9 am – 9 pm
- Saturday, May 1 from 7 am – 8 pm
- Sunday, May 2 from 7 am – 8 pm
Guests needing pick-up the evening of Thursday, April 29 may visit the Pavilion Parking Garage where staff will be on site to assist. Please note that the Department of Parking and Transportation will not take call‐ahead reservations for transport and guests should only call for service at the time of need. Guests that call for a shuttle at a specific time will be requested to call back for service when transport is needed. Special pick-ups and drop-offs may be accommodated based on demand at shuttle stops. We encourage patience from all guests as traffic during and between ceremonies may be congested.
